relationshipBeing in a long term relationship is exciting at first but many couples try and rekindles the first spark that occurred when the couple first began. Remember what it was like to anticipate a phone call from your partner and to spend hours preparing for the date and thinking in anticipation what would occur that evening? This spark should be maintained to have a successful relationship. There are many ways that the couple can maintain this spark – use these tips to keep your relationship interesting:

Take the time to talk about your day. When you take the time to talk to each other you can show interest in your partner and give your partner the chance to show interest in you and the activities that you have completed through the day. This is an essential part to maintaining the interest in the relationship.

Keep it fresh. Don’t be afraid to try new things together. This includes in and out of the bedroom. When you try new things together you can simply find ways to excite each other and become excited together. There is no experience like trying something new that neither of you have tried. For an optimal relationship, try something new with each other at least once a month. It could be a new food, a new position in the bedroom or a trip to an exotic destination that you have not seen.

Use these methods to keep the excitement in the relationship and keep learning new things about each other, regardless of how long you have been together.
